About Dereel

An actual photo of DATA?

This appears to be the entire DATA "gang". The short rotund woman was the childish one who tore up a printout I gave her to educate her as to why Wendy is wrong and that perhaps she shouldn't be listening to her. Oh well, there's no educating some people.

The true face of "DATA"?

I've wondered aloud in the past about how many people belong to the "Dereel Anti-Tower Alliance" or "DATA". After yesterday's NBN information session, ABC news published this news report. OK, they misspelt the McClellands' name, but clearly they have interviewed them. And who is worried about the pulsating microwave tower? "DATA"? No, just Wendy and Stuart.

I think this is significant. They want to go to court, and the success of their case will depend on the number of people who put their name to it. Clearly they would have given as much information as possible about their supporters, if there are any. This article suggests either that they're acting alone, or that the ABC didn't consider their "supporters" to be real supporters.

As expected DATA have done a letter drop against the NBN tower

It's full of the same old disproven "science" as usual. If you want Dereel to join the 21st century then you should go to the information sessions and voice your approval, you can bet Wendy McClelland and her band of followers will be there protesting it and if protesting is all NBNco see then they very well might pick another town.

As we have already reported the Rokewood tower is already live and has not improved mobile phone coverage one tiny bit in Dereel, as we were told by the experts in the field (actual mobile network engineers, not some misguided woman who likely failed high school physics).

The fact is that there are tens of thousands of these towers around Australia and in our capital cities and people aren't any more sick than they were 20 years ago (before mobile phones) in fact we are all much healthier than ever, our dogs, cats, birds, bees and livestock are all fine. We still seem to have honey, farming and fruit industries booming despite Wendy McClelland's claims that communications towers are adversely affecting all living things. Wendy McClelland keeps making these dire, unsubstantiated and hysterical claims and yet if you just look at what she is saying it is obviously all completely false, easily disproven by a little bit of research.
